What started as a shared love for creativity and celebration grew into something much bigger a family-built business dedicated to making moments unforgettable.
Odella’s passion for decorating began in 2018 while planning her own vow renewal. She poured her heart into every detail from the décor to the atmosphere and realized she had a true gift for transforming spaces into something magical. That moment sparked a dream: to help others experience that same joy at their own events.
Meanwhile, Kiairra had been creating and designing since 2016, always drawn to bringing ideas to life through color, technology, and creativity. With her tech-savvy skills and knack for organization, she found her groove in building systems, branding, and digital tools that make a business thrive behind the scenes.
Together, they combined their talents Odella’s eye for design and Kiairra’s drive for innovation to create Opal Event Planning & Party Rentals, a company built on creativity, connection, and celebration. Their teamwork didn’t stop there Kiairra also launched Design Is Ki Customs, where her custom designs and apparel add an extra layer of personalization to events.
Today, this mother-daughter duo continues to blend elegance with excitement, helping clients across Jacksonville and surrounding areas turn ordinary gatherings into extraordinary memories.
